Subject: VIPAC News Alert! Our voices are being heard!

Dear VIPAC member!

Our voices are being heard and we are having a positive impact according to
Todd Purdum in the New York Times in an article from Washington DC June 20
entitled: "Why not be bold? Bush has reasons". Our actions are apparently
one of the reasons. The article states the following: "The administration
has not shown any further signs of willingness to press Israel for
concessions. The domestic political realities of the combined force of
Jewish voters and Christian conservatives and of near-unanimous Congressional
backing for Israel would complicate such efforts for any president much less
a Republican dependent on conservative support."

So let's all keep up the good work! And don't forget to use the text of your
letters to the president as a "script" for weekly phone calls to the White
House and to your senators and congressman to give more political impact to
your pro-Israel message.

Regards Martin Elsant
