Subject: Support Israel! No funds for PLO terror! (VIPAC)

Dear Mr. President:

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has made provision
of further aid to international "humanitarian" groups dependent on their
signing a pledge not to give money to terrorists. On January 8 The
Jerusalem Times (a Palestinian weekly) reported that 89 different PLO
groups have resoundingly rejected this minimal condition. Therefore it is
time to end the over 200 million dollars in U.S. tax dollars your
administration sends to the PLO each year.

The details reported by The Jerusalem Times are as follows: USAID has
demanded that groups worldwide sign a document pledging not to "provide
material support or resources to any individual or entity that advocates
plans sponsors engages in or has engaged in terrorist activity." But 89
Palestinian aid groups including the Palestinian Red Crescent have
expressed their unanimous refusal to comply with this USAID policy.

U.S. tax dollars should not be sent to organizations who publicly proclaim
their financial ties to terrorists. Too many Israelis and Americans have
already died in attacks subsidized by the over 200 million dollars in
annual aid you have sent to Arafat. At long last now that the
Palestinian devotion to terror has become so blatant and brazen please
end all your financial and political support for the PLO today.

Sincerely
