DEAR VIPAC MEMBER: In his column on February 5 2004 Tom Friedman--one of the most powerful enemies of Israel--wrote in the NY Times that Israel's Prime Minister "has had George Bush under house arrest in the Oval Office...SURROUNDED BY JEWISH AND CHRISTIAN PRO-ISRAEL LOBBYISTS...telling the president not to put any pressure on Israel in an election year all conspiring to make sure the president does nothing." While Friedman as usual distorts the facts there is one truth he cannot hide. He clearly sees that the combined efforts of Jewish and Christian pro-Israel groups like VIPAC are having a positive effect on this administration's Middle East policies. And that is clearly driving Tom Friedman nuts. So if you wish to continue influencing US policy by adding your voice to the many others demanding that the US refuse to appease the PLO Islamic terror that threatens us all and if you wish to continue to drive enemies of Israel like Tom Friedman up a wall keep sending out those VIPAC messages each week! They are working! |
