Subject: (VIPAC) Support Israel: America is Fighting the Same War as the Israelis.

Dear Mr. President:

I strongly agree with your policy of supporting Israel in the war being
fought against it by the Palestinian Arabs and a number of Arab and Moslem
countries. However I am extremely disappointed by your administration’s
criticism of Israel’s recent attack against a vile terrorist.

In a letter to the editor of the New York Sun (March 25 2004) Morton A.
Klein President of the Zionist Organization of America argued for support
of Israel’s attack against the Arab terrorist Ahmed Yassin. Klein stated
that “Yassin’s Hamas is responsible for the deaths of 38 of the 51
Americans murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists in Israel since 1993.”
He reminded us that “the P.A. names streets after Hamas murderers and the
P.A.’s official press calls Hamas murderers ‘heroes’ and ‘martyrs’.”

Mr. Klein also reminded us in his letter of the sincere and meaningful
words you used before Congress on September 21 2001: “We will pursue
nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism….. From this day
forward any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be
regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.”

We must be strong and determined to protect our citizens in the war
against terror. We have the right to pursue those threatening our citizens
and we must support the right and obligation of every country to do the
same. Your criticism of Israel with respect to the murderer Yassin is
misplaced. Israel has the right and in fact the obligation to protect its
citizens by pursuing and eliminating terrorists whether they be in Arab
settlements in Israel Gaza Lebanon or elsewhere in the world.

Respectfully yours
