From: melsant@vipac.org Date: Fri 27 Jul 2007 Subject: [Vipac-letters] Support Israeli Rule in West Bank for Divine Sender: vipac-letters-bounces@vipac.org Errors-To: vipac-letters-bounces@vipac.org Dear Mr. President: On Wednesday July 25 in an interview on "Al Hurra" television your Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said: "that Israel's future will rest in Israel in places like Galilee and in the Negev - and that the occupation of the West Bank will have to end." She was echoing similar statements you had made and I believe you are both wrong. The Jewish State of Israel has not occupied the West Bank. It has liberated it from foreign Arab occupation. Judea and Samaria are the Biblical terms for the west bank of the Jordan River. These areas have Biblical names because they play important roles in the Bible. They composed the central portion of the "Promised Land"--that is the land that Sovereign of the Universe promised to the children of Abraham Isaac and Israel for all eternity. When Moses on his last day on earth was granted a view from Mount Nebo of the Land of Israel Judea and Samaria were the core of the territory that the Almighty showed him. When David son of Jesse King of Israel was born in Bethlehem that land belonged to Israel's tribe of Judah. When King David was anointed by the Lord's prophet Samuel more than three thousand years ago he made his first political capital in the ancient Judean city of Hebron. Contrary to what you may be hearing from the State Department Abraham Isaac Jacob Moses and the sweet singer of Zion King David were not Moslems or Arabs. They were patriarchs and prophets of the People of Israel. The Almighty as recorded in the Bible gave ownership and sovereignty to them and their children forever and to no other. Any other group who may have transiently occupied the lands of Judea and Samaria did so with Divine displeasure. So when the modern Jewish State of Israel in its defensive war for survival in June 1967 conquered those lands from the artificial Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan no occupation ensued. Those lands were liberated by Israel from their illegitimate Arab Moslem rulers who had systematically defiled ancient Jewish synagogues and cemeteries during their cruel reign. Mr. President it is time your policies were in synch with those of the Bible and the Almighty. Your administration has suffered an extraordinary number of domestic and foreign disasters and defeats. Maybe if you follow the Lord's will as revealed in the Bible and recognize Judea and Samaria as lands that are now and forever under the sole sovereignty of the Jewish State of Israel and that they were liberated from illegitimate and cruel Arab Moslem rulers in June 1967 Divine blessings will accompany your future endeavors. Sincerely |
