Subject: VIPAC: House of Representatives Supports the Existence of Israeli Towns and Cities in Post 1967 Israel

Dear Mr. President:

The United States House of Representatives recently passed a resolution by
an overwhelming majority of 407-9 that supports the existence of Israeli
towns and cities in Judea and Samaria. The resolution recognizes "new
realities on the ground including already existing major Israeli
population centers" and rejects any Arab "right of return" to Israel.

Commenting on the reason for the resolution House Majority Leader Tom
DeLay said "The people of Israel are at war with terror and it is our
responsibility to help them win it." The congressman added "Peace cannot
be negotiated with unpeaceful men. Peace must be won. We must stand with
Israel as they work everyday toward its winning."

I salute the House for a resolution that recognizes that Jews have the
right to live throughout Israel Judea Samaria and Gaza. It is time that
the world recognizes that Jews as all peoples of the world have the
right to live in any place of their choosing. It would be ironic that the
lands where the Jewish people originated are included in the many places
in the world that Jews are banned or made unwelcome.

I urge your continued support of the right of Israelis Jews to live
throughout Israel Judea Samaria and Gaza.

Respectfully yours
